We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we generally rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the App, authenticate users, sync workspace data, deliver reminders, and manage subscriptions
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Services, improve reliability and product quality, prevent abuse, maintain logs and audits, and handle ordinary support workflows
- Consent: where required for certain analytics, notifications, connected services, or optional features
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law
5. How NextTouch Stores and Processes Data
NextTouch uses a split data model:
- On-device storage: some data is cached locally on your device for speed, offline use, queue rendering, and mutation retry
- Backend systems: core business records such as workspaces, memberships, interactions, commitments, follow-ups, reminders, integration metadata, and audit records are processed on our backend systems and databases
- Firebase and related services: Firebase is used for authentication, push messaging, analytics, and limited subscription mirroring
- Files and artifacts: uploaded note or transcript artifacts, generated workflow artifacts, and temporary processing files may be stored in infrastructure needed to operate the App
- Support channels: support and feedback messages may be processed through our internal support and email systems
6. Sharing and Disclosures
We may share data with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate NextTouch.
| Provider / Category | Purpose | Typical Data |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication, messaging, and analytics providers | Sign-in, push notifications, app analytics, and basic telemetry | account identifiers, device tokens, event metadata |
| Hosting and infrastructure providers | Backend hosting, storage, logs, and operational reliability | workspace data, uploaded content, operational metadata |
| Subscription and billing providers | Purchase handling, entitlement state, and renewal or expiration tracking | subscription identifiers, transaction metadata, and plan status |
| AI processing providers | Commitment extraction and draft assistance | selected note text, transcript text, and linked context needed for the feature |
| CRM, calendar, and mail providers | Connected workflow features chosen by the user | connection metadata, external record identifiers, and limited synced context |
| Support and email delivery providers | Support responses and operational communications | email addresses, support messages, and message metadata |
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, connected systems, or the public, or when required by law.
7. Integrations and Third-Party Data Responsibility
If you connect third-party services or upload data about colleagues, prospects, customers, or other contacts, you are responsible for having the right to access and use that data, complying with your own contractual or employment obligations, and obtaining any notices, permissions, or consents that may be required.
Depending on the context, Blue Sparrow may act as an independent controller for account and product-operation data, and as a processor or service provider for workspace-entered business data stored or handled on behalf of a user or workspace.
8. AI-Assisted Processing
NextTouch may use AI-assisted services to identify commitment candidates from notes or transcript text, suggest due dates or ownership, and generate follow-up draft assistance.
These features are assistive only. Users must review what the system suggests before relying on it, and AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security and auditability, comply with legal obligations, resolve operational issues, and support legitimate business needs.
- account and workspace data: while the account or workspace remains active and for a reasonable period afterward
- interactions, commitments, follow-ups, and reminders: until deleted, requested for deletion, or no longer needed for service and retention purposes
- integration metadata: while an integration is active and for a reasonable period afterward for integrity and reconnect handling
- device installation and push token records: until stale, invalid, revoked, or no longer needed
- support messages: as needed to manage support history and improve service quality
- security and diagnostic logs: usually for shorter operational periods unless needed longer for incident analysis or abuse prevention
10. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including HTTPS, authenticated access controls, workspace and role-based authorization checks, restricted internal routes, monitoring, and efforts to avoid logging raw secrets or unnecessary sensitive content.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Transfers
Because Blue Sparrow is operated from India and uses global infrastructure and service providers, your information may be processed in India, the European Union, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
