InspectMate - Terms of Use

Effective Date: March 4, 2026
Last Updated: May 9, 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InspectMate mobile application, recipient web pages, and related services operated by Blue Sparrow ("we", "us", or "our"). Blue Sparrow is a solo-developer project operated from India.

By downloading, accessing, or using InspectMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

1. Eligibility and Account

You may use InspectMate only if you meet the minimum age required in your location, can agree to these Terms, and are not prohibited from using the services under applicable law.

InspectMate uses Google sign-in for app access. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity under your signed-in account.

2. What InspectMate Does

InspectMate helps inspectors and field teams create clients and jobs, run checklist inspections, capture notes, photos, findings and signatures, generate report PDFs, create invoices, track invoice status, and share public report or invoice links.

InspectMate is a productivity and documentation tool. It does not provide legal, tax, engineering, safety, regulatory, inspection-certification, or other professional advice.

3. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of workspace details, client data, job records, templates, inspection responses, photos, signatures, reports, invoices, and other content you enter or upload.

You give us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, display, and sync your content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve InspectMate.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for obtaining rights and consents needed for photos, signatures, reports and invoices, and for complying with laws and professional requirements that apply to your work.

4. Free and Premium Features

InspectMate may offer Free and Premium features. Feature availability may vary by app version, platform, region, configuration, and service readiness.

5. Billing, Subscriptions, Trials, and Refunds

Premium purchases, renewals, cancellations, trial handling, refunds, payment methods, taxes, and local currency display are managed through Google Play and supporting billing services, including RevenueCat.

6. Public Report and Invoice Links

When you create a public report or invoice link, InspectMate generates a high-entropy token. Anyone with the active link can open the PDF without installing the app or signing in.

You are responsible for who receives shared links and for confirming that the content is appropriate to share. Links may expire or be revoked through the app.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse InspectMate, bypass usage limits or Premium gates, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the services, upload unlawful or infringing content, abuse public links, send spam, or use the services in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

8. Third-Party Services

InspectMate relies on third-party services including Google sign-in, Firebase, Google Play, RevenueCat, backend hosting providers, and support or diagnostics tools. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms, policies, account settings, and availability.

9. Availability and Changes

InspectMate may change over time. We may update, add, limit, pause, rename, or remove features, plan limits, providers, infrastructure, or pricing where allowed by the app store and applicable law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or compatibility with every network, country, provider, or third-party account configuration.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, InspectMate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the app will meet every need, prevent every error, deliver every notification, complete every sync successfully, or make any inspection legally compliant.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Blue Sparrow will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, or expected savings.

11. Ending Use and Account Deletion

You may stop using InspectMate at any time. To delete your account and app data, use Settings -> Advanced settings -> Danger zone -> Delete account and app data in the app, use InspectMate account deletion, or contact us for help.

Account deletion is not reversible after it completes. Export or save anything you need before deleting. Account deletion does not cancel Google Play subscriptions.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how InspectMate handles personal data. By using InspectMate, you acknowledge that personal data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date. Where appropriate, we may provide notice in the app or through other reasonable means.

14. Contact

If a translated version of these Terms is provided, the English version controls where permitted by law.
