Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Billnix mobile application and supporting services operated by Blue Sparrow ("we", "us", or "our"). Blue Sparrow is a solo-developer project operated from India.

By downloading, accessing, or using Billnix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

1. Eligibility

You may use Billnix only if you meet the minimum age required in your location, can agree to these Terms, and are not prohibited from using the services under applicable law.

If you use Billnix for work, freelance, household, or business tracking, you are responsible for making sure your use is permitted and appropriate for that context.

2. Account and Access

Billnix currently requires Google sign-in before app use. You agree to keep your Google account secure and to use accurate account information.

You are responsible for activity under your signed-in account, including the subscription data, notes, categories, reminder settings, backup choices, and linked reminder channels you configure.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe your use is unlawful, abusive, harmful to the services, harmful to other users, or inconsistent with these Terms.

3. License to Use Billnix

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Billnix for personal, household, freelance, or small-business subscription tracking.

4. What Billnix Does

Billnix is intended to help you manually track recurring bills and subscriptions, store renewal dates, amounts, currencies, billing frequency, categories, notes, and manage URLs, see upcoming renewals, receive push reminders, sync data across devices signed in to the same account, optionally protect a backup checkpoint in Google Drive, and use Premium email and Telegram reminders where available and enabled.

Billnix is manual-entry-first. It does not connect to your bank, scan your inbox, cancel subscriptions for you, or verify whether a provider actually charged you.

5. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of information you enter into Billnix, such as subscription names, amounts, categories, notes, URLs, reminders, and settings.

You give us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, display, and sync your content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the services.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Billnix depends on manually entered data and may show incorrect reminders or totals if the data is incomplete, outdated, or entered incorrectly.

Do not enter full payment card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive information into Billnix unless a feature explicitly asks for it. Billnix does not need those details to track recurring bills.

6. Sync, Backup, and Restore

Billnix uses a local-first model with cloud support.

You are responsible for keeping access to the Google account you use with Billnix. If you lose access to that account, sync, Premium restore, and Drive recovery may not work.

We try to make backup and restore behavior clear, but we cannot guarantee that every backup, restore, sync, or migration will succeed in every device, network, account, or provider condition.

7. Reminders

Billnix can provide reminders through push notifications and, for Premium users where available, email and Telegram.

Reminder behavior depends on your entered information, reminder rules and preferences, device notification permission, backend availability, network availability, email and Telegram provider availability, Telegram link status, and Premium entitlement state.

Reminders are a convenience feature. You remain responsible for checking renewal dates, cancellation deadlines, payment obligations, trial periods, and provider account settings directly with the relevant provider.

8. Free and Premium Features

Billnix may offer Free and Premium features. Feature availability may vary by app version, platform, region, configuration, and service readiness.

9. Billing, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Premium purchases, renewals, cancellations, trial handling, refunds, and payment methods are generally managed through Google Play and the billing providers used by the app, including RevenueCat.

We may change plans, prices, limits, or Premium features prospectively where allowed by the app store and applicable law.

10. Downgrade Behavior

If Premium expires, is cancelled, or cannot be verified, future Premium-only email and Telegram reminder jobs may be paused or cancelled, extra subscriptions remain visible, extra reminder rules and saved preferences should be preserved where practical, and new actions above Free limits may be blocked.

Billnix is designed to avoid deleting your existing data just because Premium access changes.

11. Third-Party Services

Billnix relies on third-party services, including Google sign-in and Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Drive, Google Play, RevenueCat, hosting providers, BlueSparrow or BSMail email services, and Telegram.

Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms, policies, account settings, and availability. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, account restrictions, pricing, policy changes, or data handling outside our control.

12. Support and Feedback

You may send support requests, contact messages, diagnostics, or feedback. You agree that we may use feedback and suggestions to improve Billnix without any obligation to provide payment or attribution.

Support is provided through reasonable online channels. We do not guarantee a specific response time unless required by applicable law.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Billnix to violate applicable law, misuse or overload backend, email, Telegram, or support systems, attempt to access another user's data, interfere with sync, billing, reminder, or backup systems, send spam or abusive messages, store harmful code, bypass Premium gates or usage limits, or copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially host the services without permission.

14. Availability and Changes

Billnix may change over time. We may update, add, limit, pause, rename, or remove features. We may also change technical providers, backend infrastructure, reminder channels, or plan limits.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or compatibility with every network, country, provider, or third-party account configuration.

15. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice

Billnix is a tracking and reminder tool. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, investment, budgeting, cancellation, or compliance advice.

Billnix does not verify provider charges, subscription contracts, cancellation windows, refund rights, tax obligations, or payment obligations. You should confirm important billing and cancellation information directly with the relevant provider.

16. Disclaimers and Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Billnix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not promise that the app will meet every need, prevent every unwanted charge, deliver reminders on time in every condition, complete every sync or backup successfully, or represent every provider, currency, billing cycle, or renewal model perfectly.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Sparrow will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, or expected savings.

17. Ending Use of Billnix

You may stop using Billnix at any time. You may also use available in-app deletion flows or contact us for help with account deletion.

We may suspend, restrict, or end access where reasonably needed to protect the services, maintain security, address misuse, or comply with applicable law.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Billnix handles personal data. By using Billnix, you acknowledge that personal data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date. Where appropriate, we may provide notice in the app or through other reasonable means.

Your continued use of Billnix after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

20. General Provisions

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the main agreement between you and Blue Sparrow for Billnix. If a part of these Terms cannot apply, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. If we do not act immediately on a violation, that does not mean we give up the ability to act later.

These Terms are intended to be read in a way that respects mandatory consumer protection and privacy rights that apply to you.
