Terms of Use for TutorPal

Effective Date: February 27, 2026
Last Updated: May 2, 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TutorPal, a mobile application and related public parent pages operated by Blue Sparrow ("we", "us", or "our"). By using TutorPal, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your location, and able to agree to these Terms. TutorPal currently requires Google sign-in before tutor app use. In this release, Google sign-in is the only supported app sign-in provider for normal tutor access. TutorPal does not offer local-only, anonymous, email/password, phone, Facebook, Apple, or Microsoft sign-in.

After sign-in, core tutor workflows remain local-first and offline-friendly where supported. Cloud sync, restore, parent links, Premium recovery, and account deletion stay tied to the signed-in Google/Firebase account.

2. What TutorPal Does

TutorPal helps independent tutors manage students, parent contacts, lesson sessions, lesson packs, policies, invoices, templates, exports, and no-login parent action or family snapshot links after Google sign-in.

3. Your Responsibilities

4. Parent Links and Family Snapshots

TutorPal can create public session, policy, and family snapshot links that parents can open without a parent account. Parent no-login links do not remove the tutor app Google sign-in requirement.

Session links may allow confirmation, cancellation, or reschedule request actions. Policy links may allow policy acknowledgments. Family snapshot links are read-only pages intended to show selected upcoming lessons, pack balance, and policy context.

A family snapshot link does not itself change bookings, lesson packs, payments, invoices, or policies. You are responsible for sharing links only with intended recipients and for keeping session, policy, pack, and family snapshot information accurate.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

TutorPal may offer Free and Premium features. Purchases, trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and taxes are handled through Google Play and billing providers. Deleting your TutorPal account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of tutor, student, session, policy, invoice, and template content you create. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content only as needed to provide and maintain TutorPal.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your TutorPal account from Settings -> Advanced settings -> Danger zone -> Delete account and app data. If you cannot access the app, use TutorPal account deletion or contact privacy@bluesparrow.dev.

8. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, limit, or discontinue TutorPal features over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimers

TutorPal is a workflow and recordkeeping tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, education compliance, or business advice. You remain responsible for your tutoring decisions and business obligations.

10. Privacy

Your use of TutorPal is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
