Introduction
Welcome to GITA Pray ("App"), developed and operated by Blue Sparrow Dev ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GITA Pray mobile application.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Union) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.
2. Description of Service
GITA Pray is a spiritual productivity application that:
- Displays sacred verses from the Bhagavad Gita
- Allows users to block access to selected applications until a verse is read
- Tracks prayer activity, meditation time, and spiritual progress
- Provides daily reminders and motivational features
The App is designed to encourage mindful technology use through spiritual practice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You may create an account to access additional features. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3.2 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the App's security features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App's content without authorization
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Submit false information or impersonate others
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App
- Use the App in any manner that could damage or overburden our systems
5. Premium Subscription
5.1 Subscription Plans
GITA Pray offers premium features through subscription plans:
- Monthly subscription — Billed monthly
- Annual subscription — Billed yearly
- Lifetime purchase — One-time payment for permanent access
5.2 Free vs Premium Features
Free:
- Block 1 app
- 30-minute unlock duration
- Basic prayer statistics
Premium:
- Block up to 10 apps
- Choose unlock duration (30, 60, 120, or 240 minutes)
- Advanced statistics with heatmap calendar
- Full achievements system
- Export your prayer journey as a shareable image
5.3 Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
5.4 Payment and Billing
- All purchases are processed through Google Play
- Prices are displayed in your local currency
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You can manage subscriptions through Google Play settings
5.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Open Google Play Store
- Go to Menu → Subscriptions
- Select GITA Pray and choose "Cancel"
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.
5.6 Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to Google Play's refund policies. We do not directly process refunds. For assistance, contact Google Play support or reach out to us at info@bluesparrow.dev.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
The App and its content, including but not limited to:
- Software code and design
- User interface and visual elements
- Logos, icons, and graphics
- Text, documentation, and guides
are the property of Blue Sparrow Dev or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Bhagavad Gita Verses
The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient scripture in the public domain. Our specific presentation, translations, commentary, and formatting of these verses are protected as our creative work.
6.3 Your Content
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into our products and services.
6.4 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
7. Device Permissions
The App requires certain device permissions to function:

9. Data and Local Storage
- Prayer history, statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your device
- This data is not synced to any server
- You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve this data
- Uninstalling the App or clearing App data will permanently delete your local data
- We cannot recover lost local data
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Spiritual Content
The Bhagavad Gita verses and interpretations provided in the App are for educational and inspirational purposes. They do not constitute religious advice or spiritual counseling. Your spiritual practice is a personal matter, and we encourage you to seek guidance from qualified teachers or spiritual advisors as appropriate.
10.2 "As Is" Provision
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
10.3 App Blocking Limitations
While we strive to provide reliable app blocking functionality:
- We cannot guarantee the App will block all apps in all circumstances
- Operating system updates may affect blocking functionality
- Some apps or system functions may not be blockable
- You remain responsible for your own device usage and habits
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Blue Sparrow Dev and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable professional fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of third parties
13. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Google Play (distribution and payments)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Firebase (notifications)
- Appwrite (authentication)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and their practices.
14. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
- Change features, content, or functionality
- Update pricing for subscription plans (with notice)
- Implement new terms or conditions
We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of significant changes through the App or via email.
15. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
- The "Last Updated" date will be revised
- For material changes, we will notify you via the App or email
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
If you disagree with updated Terms, you should stop using the App and may request account deletion.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. However, if you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under your local laws.
17. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at info@bluesparrow.dev to resolve any concerns informally. Most disputes can be resolved through good-faith communication.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or mediation, as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
For EU Consumers: You may be entitled to use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blue Sparrow Dev regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
21. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

23. Acknowledgment

Language
These Terms are provided in English. In case of any conflict between translated versions and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
