IK ONKAR is a spiritual productivity application designed to help users build mindful digital habits through reflection on Sikh teachings.

2.2 Features

The App provides:

• App blocking functionality with spiritual reflection unlocking
• Access to Gurbani quotes and teachings
• Reflection and meditation tracking
• Statistics and achievement systems
• Educational content about Sikh teachings, Gurus, and Ragas

2.3 Spiritual Content

The spiritual content in the App is provided for personal reflection and educational purposes. The App does not constitute religious advice or replace traditional spiritual guidance from qualified religious authorities.

3. User Account

3.1 Account Creation

Certain features of the App may require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update any changes to your information
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

• Annual: Recurring annual charge (discounted)
• Lifetime: One-time purchase for permanent access

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Store
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Manage subscriptions through Google Play Store settings

4.4 Free Trial

• Premium subscriptions may include a free trial period
• You will not be charged during the trial period
• Subscriptions begin automatically after trial unless cancelled
• One trial per user per subscription type

4.5 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through Google Play Store settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial refunds for unused portions of subscription periods

4.6 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Google Play Store policies. For issues, please contact info@bluesparrow.dev and we will assist you with the refund process.

4.7 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes before their next renewal, with an opportunity to cancel.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 App Ownership

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, user interface, and all related materials, is owned by Blue Sparrow and protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 Content Licensing

Sacred Texts: The quotes and teachings presented in the App are part of the public spiritual heritage of Sikhism. Our specific arrangement, translations, presentation, and commentary are proprietary.

App Content: All other content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, and software, is the property of Blue Sparrow or its licensors.

5.3 Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on your personal device
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Share quote images generated through the App's sharing features

5.4 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Scrape or extract content from the App

5.5 Trademarks

"IK ONKAR," "Blue Sparrow," and associated logos are trademarks of Blue Sparrow. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

6. User Conduct

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code

• Circumvent subscription or payment systems
• Share account credentials with others

• Any consequences of using or bypassing the blocking feature

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or completeness of content, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements, be available at all times, produce accurate results, or that any errors will be corrected.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Blue Sparrow shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or use, any damages arising from reliance on the App, or any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

10.4 Essential Purpose

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet failures, government actions, or pandemics.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blue Sparrow and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, violation of any third-party rights, or any content you submit to the App.

• Google Play: For app distribution and payments
• Appwrite: For authentication and cloud services
• RevenueCat: For subscription management
• Firebase: For push notifications

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App for violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App.

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your cloud-stored data
• Local data remains on your device until you delete the App
• Provisions that should survive termination will continue in effect

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Informal Resolution
