1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AGAMA Pray ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
AGAMA Pray is a spiritual productivity application that:
- Blocks selected apps on your device until you complete a spiritual reflection
- Displays sacred quotes from authentic Jain Agama scriptures
- Tracks your spiritual practice including reflections, streaks, and achievements
- Provides optional meditation timers and daily reminders
The App is designed to encourage mindful phone usage through spiritual practice, aligned with Jain ethical principles.
3. Eligibility
To use AGAMA Pray, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Union)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable regulations
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Account Creation
You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4.2 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate and current information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.
4.3 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all associated data.
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Free and Premium Tiers
AGAMA Pray offers both free and premium subscription options:
Free Tier:
- Block 2 apps
- 30-minute fixed unlock duration
- Basic reflection statistics
Premium Tier:
- Unlimited app blocking
- Flexible unlock duration (30-240 minutes)
- Advanced analytics and insights
- High-resolution data export
- Canonical text deep-dive
5.2 Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
5.3 Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:
- Open Google Play Store
- Go to Menu → Subscriptions
- Select AGAMA Pray and choose "Cancel"
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
5.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Google Play Store or Apple App Store according to their respective policies. We do not directly process refunds.
5.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase affects their subscription.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 You Agree To:
- Use the App only for its intended purpose
- Comply with all applicable regulations
- Respect the intellectual property rights contained in the App
- Maintain the security of your account
6.2 You Agree NOT To:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Share, resell, or redistribute your premium access
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 App Content
AGAMA Pray, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by BlueSparrow and protected by intellectual property rights.
7.2 Sacred Texts
The quotes and teachings from Jain Agama scriptures presented in the App are drawn from public domain classical texts, including:
- Tattvartha Sutra
- Āchārāṅga Sūtra
- Bhagavatī Sūtra
- Uttarādhyayana Sūtra
- Niyamasara
- Bhava-pahuda
Translations and scholarly attributions are credited within the App. Our specific presentation, translations, commentary, and formatting of these texts are protected as our creative work.
7.3 User Content
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us to improve the App without compensation or attribution.
7.4 Trademarks
"AGAMA Pray," "BlueSparrow," and associated logos are trademarks. You may not use these without prior written permission.
7.5 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8. Privacy
Your use of AGAMA Pray is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Device Permissions
The App requires certain device permissions to function:

- This data is not synced to any server unless you explicitly enable cloud sync
- You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve this data
- Uninstalling the App or clearing App data will permanently delete your local data
- We cannot recover lost local data
11. Disclaimers
11.1 Spiritual Content
The spiritual teachings and quotes from Jain Agama scriptures provided are for educational and personal growth purposes. They do not constitute religious advice, and you should consult with qualified spiritual teachers for specific guidance.
11.2 "As Is" Service
AGAMA Pray is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
11.3 Device Compatibility
We do not guarantee that the App will work on all devices or operating system versions. Some features require specific device permissions that you must grant.
11.4 App Blocking Limitations
While we strive to provide reliable app blocking functionality:
- We cannot guarantee the App will block all apps in all circumstances
- Operating system updates may affect blocking functionality
- Some apps or system functions may not be blockable
- You remain responsible for your own device usage and habits
11.5 Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services (Google, RevenueCat, Appwrite). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these services.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
12.1 General Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable regulations, BlueSparrow shall not be responsible for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim
12.2 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations. In such cases, our responsibility shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable regulations.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BlueSparrow and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
14. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Google Play (distribution and payments)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Firebase (authentication)
- Appwrite (cloud backend)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and their practices.
15. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App
- Update features, functionality, or content
- Change these Terms with reasonable notice
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or email.
16. Termination
16.1 By You
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
16.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the App ends immediately
- No refunds will be provided for remaining subscription periods
- Provisions that by nature should survive will continue (intellectual property, limitations, indemnification)
17. Dispute Resolution
17.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at info@bluesparrow.dev to attempt informal resolution. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.
17.2 Governing Regulations
These Terms are governed by the regulations of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.3 Resolution Process
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration or other appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms in accordance with applicable regulations.

18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BlueSparrow regarding the App.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
18.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to an affiliate or successor.
18.5 Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
18.6 Language
These Terms are provided in English. In case of any discrepancy with translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
