AdminVault — Terms of Use

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AdminVault mobile application and related services (together, "AdminVault" or the "App").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Who Can Use AdminVault

You may use AdminVault if you can legally use apps and services in your location and can form a binding agreement where you live. If you use AdminVault on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. Account and Optional Sign-In

AdminVault can support offline use without an account for basic features.

Some optional features may require sign-in (for example Google Drive backups). If you sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and accounts.

4. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AdminVault for your own lawful purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where permitted by applicable law
• Circumvent security features (such as app lock or encryption)
• Use the App to store or transmit illegal content
• Interfere with the App's operation or attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts

5. Your Content and Your Responsibility

AdminVault lets you store documents, images, PDFs, purchase records, reminders, and related content ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of your User Content
• How you choose to export, share, or back up User Content
• Maintaining access to backup passphrases (if used) and keeping them safe

6. Security, Encryption, and Backups

AdminVault is designed as an offline-first, privacy-first app:

• Vault files are intended to be encrypted in app-private storage.
• App lock features (biometrics and/or PIN) help protect access.

Backups are optional:

• If you create a backup file or enable Google Drive backup, the goal is to keep backups encrypted before they leave your device.
• If you forget a backup passphrase, recovery may not be possible.

You are responsible for securing your device and any exported copies. When you export or share files, they may exist outside the encrypted vault environment.

7. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Premium Features (Optional)

AdminVault may offer premium features via subscriptions or one-time purchases ("Pro Features").

If Pro Features are available:

• Purchases are processed by the platform store (for example Google Play).
• Subscription management may be provided by RevenueCat.

Pricing, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds (if any) are handled through the store and/or the provider's standard flows. You should review the store's purchase terms before buying.

8. Third-Party Services

Some features may integrate with third-party services, such as:

• Google services (Google Sign-In, Google Drive)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Google Play Billing (purchase processing)

Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services is governed by their policies.

9. Updates and Changes to the App

We may update AdminVault to improve features, security, and performance. Some features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

10. Disclaimers

AdminVault is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We do not guarantee that exports or backups will always succeed.
• We do not guarantee that the App will meet every user's needs.

Your device, operating system, and third-party services may affect functionality.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to device loss, device damage, uninstall/reinstall, OS changes, or third-party service changes
• Loss of access due to forgotten PINs, passwords, or backup passphrases
• Consequences of sharing or exporting files outside the App

Some locations do not allow certain limitations. In those locations, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using AdminVault at any time.

We may suspend or restrict access to optional online features (such as sign-in or subscription services) if necessary for security, abuse prevention, or operational reasons, while aiming to keep offline vault functionality available where feasible.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Privacy Policy

Your use of AdminVault is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
