Hi, I'm Jyoti 👋
The indie developer, hobbyist photographer, and privacy advocate behind BlueSparrow Labs. I build apps that I want to use myself—fast, beautiful, and respectful of your data.
Why Indie?
In a world of subscription fatigue and data-mining, I believe there's a better way to build software.
Utility First: My apps solve specific problems. No Ads, no bloat, no unnecessary features.
Privacy Default: If it can be done on your device, it stays on your device. I don't want your data, and you shouldn't have to give it up to use a calculator or a journal.

Where I Build
I believe tools matter. My setup is optimized for flow state and rapid iteration.
- Machine: Custom built PC for maximum compilation speed.
- OS: Windows & Linux (Cross-platform testing).
- Fuel: Black Coffee & Lo-Fi Beats.

The Journey
First Steps
Wrote my first Hello World program. Got introduced to the world of computers and programming.
Professional Career
Started my IT career as a software developer and worked with many prestigious software companies one after another.
Mobile Awakening
Started exploring mobile development. The realization that I could build something on my computer and have it run on someone's phone across the world was magical.
India Money Calc
Launched my first major utility app. It wasn't just about code; it was about understanding finance and solving a real problem for Indian investors. It quickly grew to thousands of users.
RideReady
Combined my passion for cycling with code. Built an intelligent decision engine that analyzes complex weather variables to find the perfect window for outdoor activities.
FeelNote & The Shift
Realized that "Cloud First" isn't always best. Built FeelNote as an offline-first journal. This defined the BlueSparrow philosophy: Your Data, Your Device.
Turning Distraction into Devotion
Launched GITA Pray and AGAMA. These apps intercept mindful scrolling by presenting sacred verses from the Bhagavad Gita and Jain Agamas. It’s a new category of "Spiritual Utility"—using technology to help you reconnect with your values rather than just consuming content.
Building the Ecosystem
Working on DrivePoint, JobSmart, and spiritual apps like Ik Onkar. The goal? A suite of high-quality, honest apps for every part of life.
Life Outside Code ✈️
Code is great, but the world is bigger. When I'm away from the keyboard, I'm usually exploring new cities and soaking in different cultures.
