RideReady (the "App") is developed and maintained by BlueSparrow Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, available on Android (and soon on iOS).

By using RideReady, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a) Personal Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect the following data through Firebase Authentication:

• Name
• Email address

This data is securely stored in Firebase Firestore and used only to personalize your experience and manage premium subscriptions.

b) Location Data

RideReady uses your device location to provide weather-based cycling recommendations and forecasts.

• Your precise location is used to fetch local weather data from WeatherAPI.
• Location data is stored locally only and not shared with any other services beyond WeatherAPI.
• The app may access location in the background for weather monitoring and alerts.

c) Analytics and Crash Data

We use:

• Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app.
• Google Analytics for aggregate usage metrics.
• Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix technical issues.

These services collect anonymous data such as device type, app version, and crash reports. No personally identifiable information is shared with these providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide accurate weather forecasts and ride recommendations.
• Enable sign-in and manage user profiles.
• Improve app stability, usability, and performance.
• Deliver premium subscription functionality.
• Send local notifications when weather conditions change.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data may be shared only with:

• Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.
• WeatherAPI for retrieving weather forecasts based on your current location.

Both partners adhere to GDPR and CCPA compliance standards.

5. Data Storage and Security

Personal data (name, email) is stored in Firebase Firestore using Google’s secure cloud infrastructure. Local preferences and alert configurations are stored securely on your device. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.

6. Children’s Privacy

RideReady is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. User Rights

You may:

• Request to view or delete your data by contacting us at info@bluesparrow.dev.
• Delete your account at any time from within Firebase Auth or your Google Account settings.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside of your country of residence (e.g., in Firebase servers operated by Google LLC in the United States). All transfers comply with applicable privacy laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The latest version will always be available within the app and on our official channels.
