DrivePoint – Request Account Deletion
We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your DrivePoint account and all associated data, please read this page carefully and complete the form below.
What Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information stored on our servers will be permanently removed:
- Profile and Account Information: Your Google account email, display name, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
- Cloud Connection Data: OAuth tokens and connection metadata for your linked Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive accounts.
- File Metadata Index: The searchable index of file names, sizes, dates, and folder structures from your connected cloud accounts.
- Saved Searches and Smart Folders: Any custom searches, tags, or smart folders you created.
- Subscription and Support Records: Active subscription status, purchase confirmations, and any support conversations tied to your account.
- App Settings: Server-side preferences, notification settings, and analytics opt-in choices.
☁️ Your Cloud Files Are Safe
Important: DrivePoint never stores your actual files — they remain in your cloud storage accounts (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive). Deleting your DrivePoint account does NOT delete any files from your cloud accounts. Your files will remain exactly where they are.
We only stored metadata (file names, sizes, dates) to enable search functionality. This metadata will be deleted from our servers, but your actual files are not affected.
⚠️ This Action Cannot Be Undone
Account deletion is permanent. Once your data is deleted from our servers, it cannot be recovered. You will lose:
- All saved searches and smart folders
- File tags and organizational data
- Offline cache and search history
- Premium subscription access (if active)
After deletion, you can create a new account, but you will need to reconnect your cloud accounts and rebuild your saved searches.
📱 Active Subscription?
If you have an active premium subscription, you must cancel it separately through your app store account before or after deleting your account:
- Google Play: Manage Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription or issue a refund. Please cancel your subscription first to avoid future charges.
🕒 30-Day Grace Period
After you submit this request, your account will be deactivated immediately, but limited account metadata will be retained for 30 days so you can change your mind. During this period:
- You will not be able to use the App or access premium features
- You can reactivate your account by signing in again
- Your connected cloud accounts will be disconnected immediately
After 30 days, all account data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives:
- Disconnect specific accounts: If you only want to remove certain cloud accounts, you can disconnect them individually in App Settings → Connected Accounts without deleting your entire DrivePoint account.
- Clear cache: If you're concerned about storage, you can clear the offline cache in App Settings → Storage → Clear Cache.
- Cancel subscription only: If you want to stop paying but keep your account, cancel your subscription through Google Play. Your account will revert to the free tier.

To request account deletion, please fill out the form below. We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email.
What Happens Next?
- Immediate Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated immediately. You will no longer be able to sign in or use the App.
- Cloud Disconnection: All connected cloud accounts (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) will be disconnected. DrivePoint will no longer have access to your cloud files.
- Email Confirmation: We will send a confirmation email to your registered email address within 7 business days acknowledging your deletion request.

- Permanent Deletion: After 30 days, we permanently delete your account profile, file metadata index, saved searches, subscription status, and all associated data.
Revoking Cloud Access Manually

- Google Drive: Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps and remove DrivePoint.
- Dropbox: Go to Dropbox Settings → Connected Apps and remove DrivePoint.
- Microsoft OneDrive: Go to Microsoft Account → Privacy → Apps and Services and remove DrivePoint.
Local Data: Any cached data stored locally on your device will remain until you manually delete the app or clear app data in your device settings.
